Please Indulge Me Today......!

I'm going to ask you to please indulge me today, because I am writing this post as a very proud mum!

Both my daughters are beautiful, on the outside AND on the inside, and I am very proud of both of them. Daughter number 2  had her little ones close together and is doing such a fantastic job with them.  She has endless patience, and I have never heard her complain about them, even when they are not being their usual angel-like selves!  It was very hard for her at the beginning, but things are gradually getting easier.  She doesn't have time to run a blog, but daughter number 1 does.

Here is number 2 daughter :

Daughter number 1 has a fashion blog, and I always think that she looks gawgus in all her different outfits, so today I am going to post a few photos for you to have a look at :

As a mother, blessed to have a daughter also, I echo your sentiments.

What a wonderful post - both your daughters look exquisite and are lucky to have their mom's good looks.

Thank you for sharing a little "daughterly love" - you all are so blessed to have each other.

Hugs, Jenny

They are beautiful girls who look so much like their mom. And Alfred looks quite dapper himself.

Mrs. Brown you've got TWO lovely daughters. I love them both, along with their children and that lovable pooch, Alfred. You can be proud of them and proud of yourself, too, Thisisme, because it was your love, nurturing, guidance and advice that molded them into the fine young women that they are today. Happy Thursday to you, dear friend!

You are so lucky to have such beautiful daughters. I have two sons but am lucky to be getting close to my oldest's girlfriend. I am learning plenty about girls now

You are such a sweetie! You have every reason to be proud of your lovely daughters and I bet they are very proud of you too!

I can see that she gets her good looks from her stunning mother!

Best wishes,

My daughter DESPISES when I post a blog about her! But I am so thankful to have her that it's really hard to leave her out of all my ramblings. Thanks for sharing your beautiful daughters with us. I feel like a big dumb dumb for not making the connection that Gawgus was your daughter! Maybe I need to pay more attention to your commenters instead of rushing in and out!

Dear Diane,

Lovely post - and your daughters looks so much like you :) Beautiful they are! :) @}

Wish my mother would've said those nice things about me - but that is a different story.

Enjoy your day my friend!

Well you have two gorgeous daughters and you are so right about having a daughter. I have a great one - who since we live together fight a little - but she's one in a million to me. sandie

Pearson Report - We are blessed indeed and I'm so glad you enjoyed the daughterly love today! x

SkippyMom - Hi there my friend. Hope you are feeling a little better at the moment. YES, you're right, they do make it so easy for us to be proud of them. Lovely! Hugs to you and take care.

Gawgus things - I love you!!

Shelly - thank you and, yes, there's little Alfred sneaking into the photo again! I've been thinking of you my friend.

Shady = Hi dear Tom. Yes, I am bursting with pride as a mum to two very special girls! Not sure that I did very much towards it, but they've turned out just lovely.

Mynx - I'm sure having two boys is lovely as well, but it's nice that you're getting close to the girlfriend. Nice to have girly time!

Natasha = thank you my friend, and for never letting me down with your special comments!!

Linda = they're lovely, aren't they?! Not that I'm prejudiced or anything! Hee Hee!!

knees and paws - hi Jenny. Judging by my daughter's remark above, she might not have been happy about me showing those photos either!! A lot of people didn't make the connection between myself and Gawgus for quite a long time, so don't worry about it!!

Eva = I consider myself very blessed with how well my daughters and I get on, as I know it certainly doesn't always work out like that with mothers and daughters! Hugs.

Bethe - I know that you are blessed with beautiful daughters as well, so we are doubly blessed!

Chatty = we ARE lucky, aren't we?! If you live with someone, there are bound to be disagreements, that's only natural, but I know how much she means to you (and you to her, I'm sure).

Happy to indulge you my friend, you deserve to be proud of them both, I love the quotes, especially as a Mum of two daughters myself.

Oh, Diane! We're not indulging you at all! On the contrary, we fully support you in feeling as proud as you do! You have every right to feel proud of your lovely girls. I, too, am the Mother of a daughter and a son...and I count myself incredibly lucky and blessed! I never feel the need to excuse my feelings for them. The only reason I don't shout out their virtues and talents from the rooftops is because they would feel embarrassed :)

Diane, Thanks so much for sharing your photos and the quotes about daughters. You have every right to be proud of them. Let me add a quote of my own.

A son is a son til he takes a wife,
but a daughter is your daughter all her life.
(author unknown)
Unless she marries MY SON-now she is my DAUGHTER too. Thanks Gerry and Rich you did such a GOOD JOB on getting me some daughters, and the GRANDsons are not bad either.

Take every chance to be proud, you have done a great job MOM and they are the proof.

Your daughters are lovely Diane,
but why wouldn't they be
as they have you as their Mum!

I have one lovely daughter,
would have loved 2 girls but it wasn't to be,
there is nothing like a daughter and spending girlie time together.

Wishing you well.

LOL, I love Emma's reaction! You do have daughters that are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. I can't imagine anyone who grew up with you as their Mum being anything different.

I loved your quotes...here's one of my fav's

'A child holds are hands when they are young...our hearts forever.'

Sweet indulgence was due to you today, Diane!
Hugs~

Both of your daughters take after you. You are all gorgeous!

I love you daughter's sense of style. Sure really knows how to put things together.

LindyLouMac in Italy - lovely to see you here today my friend. We ARE lucky having our daughters, aren't we? I'm glad you liked the quotes about them :) Hope you're now able to relax a bit after the endeavours of your olive harvest!

Desiree - thank you for your lovely comments! They DO get embarrassed, don't they. I always think it is so important to let them know how much we love them, and how much they mean to us. Usually, if I send a sloppy text to one of them, they will come right back and say, "mum, have you been at the wine again!!!".

Claudia - thank you so much my friend. Do get better soon :(

rainbow - it is so good to see you here today, and thank you for those lovely comments. How wonderful that you now have a daughter in your daughter in law. That is a blessing indeed my friend. Do hope that all is well with you. (And, Yes, grandsons are pretty special too!).

Raindrops and Daisies - Hi Linda. You have been blessed with a very beautiful little girl, and I'm sure she means so much to you. As you say, you just can't beat girlie-time! Hugs.

Sush - yes, Emma's comment WAS funny, wasn't it?! That's why I replied, saying "I love you", just to wind her up a little bit more! I love that quote that you mentioned.

Retired English Teacher - thank you so much Sally. It's always good to see you here. Take care and enjoy that gorgeous little puppy of yours!

I see your daughter got your beautiful legs! I'd like to jump over and visit her blog but I don't see an address. Could you let us know how to find her?
The greatest blessing in my life has been my daughters.

Belle - hi there. I am so glad that you have your lovely daughters as well (and gorgeous granddaughters, of course!!). If you click on the comment by Gawgus things under this post, it should take you direct to my daughter's blog.

Daydream Living - Hi Maureen! How lovely that you are coming over to Manchester to have some retail therapy! That's still quite a way from Devon where I live, but I hear that the shops are amazing up there. Enjoy! Lovely that you have your daughters too. Aren't we the lucky ones?!

Orchid - Hallo there Miyako my friend. I hope all is well over there with you. I smiled when you said that you wished your mum had given you a lovely shape body. I'm sure you are absolutely lovely! Remember, "small is beautiful" and "good things come in small packages."!! Hugs to you, and yes, I am very blessed with my lovely little family :)

Will have to admit I slowed down when I got to the one with the short skirt. I can see where the great legs come from now. Have a great rest of the weekend as this is saturday morning here.
