Kindness - One Of My Favourite Words

Hallo peeps!  Hope you're all feeling nice and sparkly today.

Kindness is one of my very favourite words.  I always think that if more people were kind to each other, then the world would be a much better place.

I have been on to Pinterest to find some lovely quotes for you, and I hope you will enjoy them.

Thank you for posting these important reminders, Thisisme. It takes very little time and energy and costs nothing for you to put sunshine in somebody's day. Given those facts why don't more people do it? The ripple effect of kindness is immeasurable. A single person's random act of kindness can ultimately change the world. That's powerful. We all need to harness that power. Have a wonderful weekend, dear friend!

These sure are wonderful examples of how we should be everyday and I hope lots of people see your post. Don't you just love Pinterest? Linda and I are at the beach and it already feels great being away from all the signs of stress & drama. Rocky is about to wear his nose out sniffing all the new smells of this gorgeous home we are staying in. I will be taking pictures and you will see what I mean. Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Odie

I love these quotes and I have been amazed by the amount of people who have been so kind during this very tough 5 weeks with Jack being ill, including yourself with the lovely email.

with all the wonderful ideas.

Thanks for a lovely post

Love these! I am convinced if we all practiced radical, not just random, acts of kindness every day, we could change the world quickly.

What a lovely post, from one who is always kind and thoughtful, loving and attentive, generous of spirit and beautiful of face :) You are so right, Diane. It does take so little to be thoughtful and kind and yet, it seems far too many only give out rudeness and inconsiderateness, going through life as though they are owed a living. One of the best things about blogging is finding out how many wonderfully kind and caring people extend themselves to all "out there" and, I do believe, are helping to make a difference through their blogs. You are one of those who sincerely make a difference through your blogging interactions. In fact, I'd go so far as to say you set the standard for us all. Big hug xoxo

Shady - hi Tom. As you say, it is so easy and costs
Nothing, so why can't more people do it. I do find that our friends in blogland ate very good at harnessing the power. Have a lovely weekend dear friend.

Odie - hi there. How good to see you here today ! How wonderful that you, Linda and Rocky are on the beach! Really looking forward to seeing photos of the house you are staying in. Have a lovely time my friend.

LindyLou- I am so glad that you have been having kindness shown to you during the awful time you have been going through whilst gorgeous Jack has been poorly. Take care.

Claudia - thank you my friend!

Raindrops and Daisies - hi Fiona. Glad you enjoyed all the quotations today.

Being kind COULD CHANGE the world - the only problem is every one would have to choose to be kind! Sandie

I tried so hard to teach this to my students. Even if you couldn't be good in math, you could still be good in showing kindness! Thank you for these great reminders.

Shelly - if everyone did it, or almost everyone, we really could change the world quite quickly. I wonder why some people find it so hard to be kind?

Daydream Living - Hi Maureen. I know that you would certainly be one to spread kindness! I'll pop over to your blog to let you know that my lovely parcel arrived yesterday.

Desiree - my goodness my friend, such kind comments you have left for me today. I do truly appreciate them :) I do agree with you about bloggers though - everyone is so supportive of each other, and I haven't met anyone yet who hasn't been kind, generous and encouraging to a fault. I do feel blessed. To anyone who has never blogged before, I think they would find that quite hard to understand, but it is so true. Desiree, my friend, thank YOU for always being there and leaving such kind comments! Hugs.

Chatty - you're right, everyone would have to get on board. We must just make sure that we spread out kindness in our little corners of the world!

Grammy Goodwill - That is such a good subject for a teacher to teach her students, on how they can always be kind to others. Enjoy your weekend.

This are fabulous! Kindness warms my heart! :) It's so important in the world that we like in right now, that extra energy and gesture you can make someone's whole world different, or the outlook on it change, if only for a moment. Amazing isn't it? Kindness proves to people there are still good people in this world!

Ahh, I so agree with you! I think we who think like that need to make sure we follow through with that in our daily living. Even sometimes we need to remember to Turn the Other Cheek. Now that can be the hardest act of kindness to follow...

Hugs you dear friend...
